and having mates over on a weeknight for a few beers! This
is the part of sharing that we try not to think about - but
lets face it, it happens and it makes for some funny stories!
If youve ever lived with a housemate you couldnt stand or
they drove you nuts, be sure to post your article now and
share your experiences with us. Whether they're funny, strange,
bizarre or just plain ridiculous, lets hear em!

| I used to share with a Korean couple in Sydney. They were very quiet, never played any music, watched tv or had friends over. They always kept to themselves in their tiny room. One time I left some bread crumbs on the kitchen bench and the next morning there was a post it note next to the crumbs saying 'Please clean up your crumbs'.
Another time I left the lights on when I had gone out for the night and when I came back home, there was another

| I am currently living with a female housemate who pretty much does anything she wants. The biggest problem with her, is she is an alcoholic. She works in the bar industry, and every morning after work comes home at 7-9 am hammered. This wouldn't be a problem normally however, she usually brings home complete strangers to our apartment that she doesn't even know. Not only that, i work p n/shift, which she knows, so when i get home in the morning,

| i was all of 22 years old looking to move out and my mother had a work friend who was going to live overseas for 18 month's, all i had to do was find a nice female roommate, to share with, keep up the house of my mother's work friend, pay, utilities, phone, internet and because she owned the house out right the rent was very cheap, the place fully furnished of course basic rules applied like no smoking inside the house, no trashing of the place,

| I moved into a house with 2 other students and all was well. I must admit I do occasionally have a few too many but like every few weeks its not like a usual occurarence or anything we would in fact go out drinking together. After about 4 months a new girl moved in.
As soom as she moved in she started cleaning and rearraging stuff such as the kitchen and bathroom she even threw away our toilet brushes and face cloths stating they were dirty.

| I moved into a sharehouse near my university that was owned by a really shy Accounting major who was an international student from Beijing. He seemed fine and helped me move my clothes and shoes into my new room. Things seemed very normal. My boyfriend bought me a fruit juicer as a house warming gift. He dropped it off to the apartment. Helped me set it up. He left shortly afterwards. My flatmate said he wanted to have a 'chat'. We sat do

| My partner and I live have had this girl move in with us a few months ago so we decided to make her feel more at home (baking cakes for her, including her when it comes to breakfast, lunch, and dinner). We even buy her take out sometimes without her paying us back (but we let it go anyway). We buy the toilet rolls, the milk and bread (which we share with her). Thing is, SHE NEVER CONTRIBUTES TO ANYTHING. We bought some ingredients one day, only

| Hey. I'm actually in the middle of a real nightmarish exprerience because of a house I moved into in with 2 other girls under a joint tenancy. They were an absolute nightmare to live with and wouldn't pay any bills so I had to give up after 2 months and move out (they were that bad!)
However, the new tenant who was supposed to replace me moved into the house and did a runner before signing his contract which the landlord sent to him.
It turned

| I looked for a female housemate for nearly a year but finally ended up having to go with a 23 year old guy instead. At first he seemed nice enough but just a few days after he moved in I started to regret it (other than the fact that he paid bond and that was it). To summarise… he put his laptop in front of my PC (so I couldn’t use it for work or play) and proceeded to play games online (using my internet connection without my permission) for pre
