I got a couple into my house to share for 4months. They seemed to good to be true when i met them but geez i was wrong. They both worked full time but every mon0tues-wed-thurs they use to get home at 5.30pm then just sit on the couch all night drinking CORDIAL ???. They use to have a bath at 9pm then again a shower at 7am which did my head in (they were not paying bills). They use to go to bed eveynight at 9.30pm and tell me off for being to loud at 10.00 and turn the TV down..WHAT THE? On weekends they would sleep 10pm to 11am, 13 hrs whata waste. I accidently killed there pot plant and they got so mad they wanted me to buy a new one $3.95 it said on the bottom.....they were ok but did the most petty things and felt it essential to hit the pillows at about 9pm everynight for bed BORING.

Each to their own, but just because you don't agree with them not drinking during the week it doesn'y make them bad housemates. Most people who work full time have quiet nights from monday to thursday without alcohol! As for them sleeping in on the weekends, why is that boring? You then say its a waste that they sleep in? You are a very judgmental person. YOU see it as a waste, but weekends are for people to do what they enjoy, and if they enjoy sleeping (im sure among other things they do in their room) then that is their perogative. Maybe you feel inadequate if you are not with a partner? In my opinion it is you who is the bad housemate. I think you should seek counselling about the amount of focus you put on your house mates. I tihnk YOU are the petty, boring one.

WTF is wrong with you? They did nothing but relax in the house after work - and you are complaining about that??? Wait until you get some stealing, crazy, house-trashing nutters and you'll be praying for a couple of "boring housemates" again...

Dude, send me their number....sheesh, they sound normal, not like my flatmate who turns the stove down every time I leave the kitchen, like up to three times while the water is getting ready to boil. Man you ain't seen nothing yet.
