I needed a housemate who had a personality, clean criminal record and a decent income.
I advertised on a free website (www.gumtree.com.au) and instead of getting a decent human with great refereces i had the complete opposite.
Fired for being rude in all employment previously held with less than 1 month employment at all jobs.
Psychotic behaviour, did not want to get a job, Kept saying I don't care about money so why should you
Not only did he have no furniture but he went through the house and anything he liked he put in his room without asking for permission
to add insult to injury he even went out to HARD RUBBISH and brought a soggy, dirty, smelly mattress in the house and enjoyed a female on it and used it as a bed.
I told him..get your attitude fixed or you are gone to which he replied I don't care

Why anyone would put up with this i don't understand...
I'd kick him out right away & change the locks...

I know exactly what you mean but sadly he has stolen most of my ability to care for others.
I am sending all his junk including the MATTRESS back to his parnets with a message about him and the full bill for what he owes including the steam cleaning.
COD!!!
I once thought people from the country were all hard working decent people but you can see how my appreciation has been destroyed.
